2020 starts with Covid-19 !

It is close to a year since my last blog post, and we made a lot of improvements and infrastructure additions at Good Tree Farm.

Unfortunately, 2020 has begun very badly with the global pandemic of Covid-19. We are all in this together, as we always were on everything! However, Covid-19 has highlighted the importance of taking care of everyone so we can protect everyone. No one is safe, from Covid-19, unless everyone is safe.

In the Quraan, the Almighty tells us that times may come when the deeds of humanity are so overwhelmingly bad that intervention by our Creator is necessary to suppress the evil doers. It tells of how hardships and disease were sent upon evil doers before our times so they may submit to our Creator and live in peace and justice upon this Earth. It may be that this disease, caused by a simple little RNA virus which is not even a living cell as in plants and animals, was sent to stop the greedy, the warmongering, the exploiters, the polluters, the transgressors, and the oppressors. It may be it was sent upon humanity to cause the weak, oppressed, exploited and transgressed upon to rise up for justice for everybody, everywhere. But it is, almost certainly - for those who are of faith in our Creator and The Day of Judgement, a time-limited warning and reminder from our Creator that He is in control and can easily rid this planet of our evil deeds.

In an effort to respond with the means we have in our control, The Good Tree Farm Project is announcing the Covid-19 Initiative hoping that 501c3s serving disadvantaged communities and individuals suffering to access healthy food in this crisis will join us and start returning some sense of food security to those communities and individuals. We cannot do it without you, so please step up to this opportunity!

God bless and protect all those who do good in this world, and may our Creator guide those who do evil to cease and desist from their evil ways of the (hopefully) past.

God bless and peace unto you all.

The Good Tree Farm Project

The Almighty also calls on us to do good, especially in hard times of general affliction and show our goodness by our action. All the prophets reminded their followers that doing good deeds is especially important during hard times. The reward with our Creator for good deeds are multiplied during hard times.

The Good Tree Project launches its Covid-19 Initiative to help faith communities produce their own food, and take charge of their own food security. The fall-out from this terrible affliction that has befallen everyone, especially us here in the NY/NJ area, is yet to fully unfold and be fully understood. It is likely that the ripple effects from the economic shutdown will magnify and expand in ways we cannot yet fathom or fully comprehend. One thing that is becoming clearer though is its effect on food security and food supply. Fear of contamination and infection from others and from infected packaging, and produce is causing people to wonder where can they safely get food from.
