Dual Purpose:

1. Sustainable development of people and planet.

2. Demonstrating the Maqasid of Islam via a human centered, Quraan guided sustainable development initiative. (Maqasid = The Creator’s purposes for which the Message was revealed)

Goal:

Fund and support core teams in different developing countries to setup and assist 3-5 cooperative businesses in each country that function as intentional ecovillage communities dedicated to lifting people out of poverty, ill health, exploitation, and emotional distress using an Islamic Takaful based agribusiness approach.

Objectives:

• Lift the following beneficiary groups out of their distress and help them fulfill their human potential through the guidance of enlightened Islamic sustainable development of people and planet:

  • Women with children having no financial support (widows, deserted, no family support)

  • Orphans

  • Homeless and ‘Street’ Children

  • The Exploited and Trafficked

  • Those qualifying for Zakat in the Quraan (poor, needy, indebted, etc.)

• Address the United Nations SDGs with an Islamic approach of sustainable development - simultaneously focused on people and planet.
